Firefox downloading a youtube file as a wmv or the newer M4v

I need to use these in a pc laptop I never get on line with. I have download helper and other youtube addons but I don't get a choice of file type when clicking the DL button. Thanks for listening.

Please use a smaller font size! Also, what "format" do you need to use on your PC laptop?
