Find files that are hiden

Hi there! I'm a portuguese user of MacBook OS X v10.4.11 , i have my mac for a while and i have a big problem!

My former computer was a pc and when i wanted to hide a file or videos i simply hide it in a sistem file...

i did the same in my mac... but now i dont know here it is, and the worst is that i denied the acess...and the finder doesn't look those files

Can someone help me please!

I've tried to find it for a while, but i forgot the name of the paste
