Find and Replace text

Hi,

Using Automator and/or Applescript how could I find some text in a saved html file and replace the text with HTML code that would then highlight the found text when reading the file in a web browser.

I don't fancy spending $14 on the Text pack from AutomatedWorkflows either.

Thanks for any pointers.

html file is just text, use the textedit workflows. You won't do it in a browser, web pages are not scriptable.

Update ...

I have found an app called tex-edit that adds some automator actions to automator. One of the actions is "find and replace".

I am now having issues understanding the structure of the workflow. Which action should be used as the first one for a watched folder?
