i ran boot camp on my macbook (osx 10.5.8) and created a partition on which i planned to install windows. i tried installing windows, and it didn't take. now, when i hold down "option" at start-up, nothing appears unless a CD is in the cd-rom drive. nothing but an arrow.
i reset the PRAM, same thing.
i am now running the macbook with a firewire cable connected to another macbook, and the diskutil on the working macbook shows my original macbook as an untitled drive with a folder called WINDOWS in it, nothing else. it does not allow the option to repair or verify.
is there anything that can be done?
