fax reverses to black with white type

Hi.

Hope someone can tell me why my faxes are received reversed (black with white type). I'm running 10.4.6, and although FaxCenter was already on my computer I recently downloaded it since the original version wasn't working. Went through all the steps to make sure I had done everything, and when it started going out reversed, I sent an email to the designer who hasn't answered me (five days ago)

So, help!
