export yosemite photo library to photoshop elements 13 organizer

I have had no luck looking for this topic online. Maybe someone here can help me to import my photo library to photoshop elements 13 organizer?

I tried that but the window says "iPhoto library is empty". There is no option for "photo"

-What version of Mac OS X and iPhoto?
-If running Yosemite 10.10.x, did you convert your iPhoto Library to a Photos Library?
-How many photos are in the iPhoto Library?
-Do you have more than one iPhoto Library?

I'm running yosemite 10.10.4. My iPhoto library is on an external hard drive. I don't know how to download to yosemite photos...

Don't worry about the iPhoto to Photos conversion...you don't want to do that yet anyway.

Since your iPhoto Library is on an external, could it possibly be trying to read an empty iPhoto Library on the internal drive in the Pictures folder?

Cory, I think they may be happening, the iPhoto library is empty on my mac.Way over my knowledge of understanding. I think I'll go to the Apple store and have them help me
