email lists

I am new to Mac. I have a list of people I send jokes to and used to have one file with the list of email addresses that I could click and the file which would populate the list into the send, cc or bcc line.

Does anyone know how to set this up? Mac help on my mac is too vague to set this up

AddressBook - Make a Group, then just enter the name of the Group in the Mail To address field.
