PRIOR TO AN UPGRADE I WAS ALWAYS NOTIFIED WHEN I GOT A NEW EMAIL WITH A PING. I NO LONGER RECEIVE THE NOTIFICATION PING. HOW DO I GET THE PING BACK.

First, please turn off the ALL CAPS. It makes it look like you are shouting.

Secondly, it might be best if you "move" your request to the "Mac Applications" forum. That way, it will get "proper" attention. But, to get you started, we need to know the following information, at a minimum:

1. What is your exact Mac model?

2. What exact Mac OS are you suing? Along with that, how did you "get to that OS", ie, did you upgrade in place, dod fresh, clean installation of the new OS, etc.?

3. Are you making backups to an external device? And if you are, what software are you using for that?

4. Have you ever done any disk cleanup/maintenance/repairs, from a software perspective?

5. Do you have any third party software on your machine?

6. What EMail program are you using? And how, and when, did you upgrade?
