...?

You've plugged in an external DVD writer into your Mac, and want to use it to load Tiger...but it won't ? Is it Firewire ?

I am with it ?

What make and Model DVD writer is it ? Not all of them are bootable...

I'll have to check up...but it may not boot on your Drive...

Try holding down the Option Key whilst rebooting withe DVD in the Freecom to see if the Mac see's it, if it does then it will install very slow over USB...
