Dual boot

I have a 2014 Mac Mini that is running a 1.4 Ghz Dual Core I5. When I establish Boot Camp on it, the drive builds a copy of Windows onto it, but after completion of the operation, the Mac doesn't startup into the partitioned second operating system. Any ideas as to how I might get it to do so, or am I using a logic board on the Mini that doesn't allow for dual boot thus need a replacement?

At the time I posted I was using MacOs Catalina, but at the time i was also using a "flaky" SSD and have since replaced it. As of this posting, I haven't tried again but thanks for your reply. I'll let you know if I'm successful.
