"drag the scroll thumb in the scroll area" error help.

So basically on certain applications that I need to do a Watch me Do action, my events are mostly "drag the scroll thumb in the scroll area." the problem is that automator doesn't register that I clicked instead of dragging within the application. So when I run the action an error will pop up because I'm not able to finish the sequence. I was wondering if anyone had a similar problem and if anyone had a fix for it. Thanks!
