Is there any 'safe' way to disable Font Book so that I can use Font Agent Pro exclusively for managing my fonts with Lion 7.2?

Trash message says:

"Font Book.app" can't be modified or deleted because it's required by Mac OS X.

Right Click on a Font File, Get Info

In the Open With section change Font Book to Font Agent Pro.

Click Change All... should do it.

Yah lost me on that one Kaveman. I've over 13,000 fonts....not sure what you're telling me to do when you say "Right Click on a Font File, Get Info...

Which font/which library?

Any Font File. This is making a change to the whole Mac, telling it to use Font Agent Pro to open when you open a Font. It easy to undo so its worth a try, the key is to click the Change All... button.
