Deleting silverlight files been going on for days now/

everytime i try to watch netflix, i get asked to redo the silverlight

when i went to look at files, i had a ton of icons for silverlight

i opted to delete them one at a time

it's been three days and it is still moving across the page, saying that it is deleting files....

can anyone help?

-Which model Mac?
-What version of OS X?
-Where are the multiple Silverlight files located - in the Downloads folder?
-Did you double-click the downloaded Silverlight disk image and install it?
-Is Netflix now working?
