Deleting a homepage/website form my mac book pro

Ok.. so I am thinking that this question makes quite clear what a novice I am with computers.

Anyhow, A couple of days ago my "homepage" mysteriously(?) changed to conduit.com.... I do not know what I did but there it is... I want to get rid of it and block it.... can someone help me? Thankful ahead of time for someones help.

Navigate to the page you want as your homepage.

Safari > Preferences > General > Click Set to Current Page
