Deleted photos

Hi everyone,
Wondering is there anyone that can help me please. I updated our mac from snow leopard to OS X 10.9.1 and as a result I have lost all my photos in I photo.Is there any way I can retrieve them?

Hi,

This seems very odd, first open iPhoto and choose change library then navigate to iPhoto library.

If no success you can retrieve form your TM backups.
If you have not been doing regular backups then possibly a reinstall of OS X would be the way, as upgrading should not have done this.

Hello and welcome.

It could also be due an older version of iPhoto struggling in Mavericks. What version of iPhoto are you running?
