Hi. I have damaged the screen on my MacBook Pro 13-Inch “Core i5” 2.7 early 2015. A new screen over £400. Is there a cheaper, non retina screen which is compatible. I’m looking for the cheapest replacement screen. I’ll change the screen myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome.

Most of the time, you need ot use the same screen that came with the MBP, as other models may not be fully compatible.

Honestly, I would have a Apple Authorized Service Provider replace it with the OEM part, and not attempt it yourself, since internal components can easily be damaged without the proper tools and experience.

If you don't need portability, you can always connect an external display, and use your MBP in Closed-Lid Mode.
