Creating custom alerts

Hello,

I have to work overnight but only when specific orders come through, so it would be nice if I can nap inbetween if there was a way for me to be alerted when a new order pops up. Is there a way to create a custom alert on Mac so that when the screen changes in a specific way or section that an audible noise is made?

I am pretty techy though I am usually a PC person so not sure if this kind of thing is possible on mac.

What Mac do you have, and what version of macOS is installed.

Also, how are you getting notified now that a new order comes in? Is it proprietary software? The more info that you can give will help in figuring out the best way to assist you with this.
