Copying a dvd

[retired in Basque country]

Our handicapped son is constantly scratching his DVD's and it becomes expensive to replace them. I'd like to copy them gradually onto my iMac (OS Catalina) so that I can burn them on to a new disc whenever I need to.
The MacApp store seems to have lots available.
Can anyone recommend one of them please. One that also isn't too complicated!

Burn will do that for you. Select the Copy option and then drag the dvd icon from the desktop. It will give you a disk image that you can use to burn another DVD, or play it on your Mac using DVDPlayer.
