Converting digital music to MP3

I have purchased a bunch of songs from Amazon, they will not covert to MP3 when I use the convert option. Most of it converted but a dozen or so would not convert after multiple attempts.

What software are you using for the conversion process?

From a googlE search of 'Mac software to convert songs to MP3 format", it looks like this program is reliable:

I never use iTunes 'Create MP3 Version', instead I use one of Doug's AppleScripts for iTunes which I find much better.

For FLAC I use Switch & for everything else I use QuickTime
