Years ago I recorded my young son singing a song with my Mac PowerPC. When I retired that computer, I copied the file and stored it on my PC for many years. Now I have finally emerged from the desert and am back to Mac (MacBook Pro). When I copied the file onto my MacBook, it appears as one of those black files with the green word EXEC in the upper left hand corner. The name/file extension is: Name.wav.dat
I would very much like to see if I can convert this into an audio file to hear that little boy sing again! (He's now 17.)
I downloaded Switch and tried every which way to convert the file into something usable but had no luck.
If any of you folks can help me, I'd be so grateful!
