Contact Group Names

Using El Capitan --- when I try to create a "group" in Contacts, no matter what name I give it, the name defaults to "untitled group"? Is this a "bug" or can someone help me with a solution?

Hi,

-Are you creating the group in the iCloud or On My Mac section in Contacts?
-If you have an iCloud account, can you create a group successfully when logged into icloud.com?

OMG -- I'm still pretty new to MAC/Apple, and just today was the first time I've been to icloud.com. I've been trying to create a new group in my MAC Contacts. But when I went to icloud.com, Contacts, I had no problem creating a group with the name I wanted...and lo and behold, when I went back to Contacts on my MAC, there was the group.
