Connecting Macbook to Regular Tv

I have a macbok and my television has a 4 holed s-video input.

I think all I need is a Apple Mini-DVI to Video Adapter, but I'm not entirely sure.

Wal Mart gave me advice to buy a Male to Male HDDB15 cord. I don't think that's right.

This is what you need:

Apple Mini-DVI to Video Adapter

It boils down to your type of TV. If it only has the S-Video input or this is the input you will use, the the mini-DVI to Vid Adapter is what is suggested.
