COMPUTERS NaME privacy

The other day I was asked at (bloomberg.com) and other website for feedback . When you fill a questionnaire like that online and submit it can they see or get your computers name? I work there and I was really "honest" Im afraid they can see my macbook's name (sharing is all turned off) it apears as macbook.local
