Carbon copy cloner / samsung T5 ssd

ccc existing ssd to T5 for boot drive back up.... all went fine except ccc will not copy recovery disk, ccc says T 5 not journaled and cannot copy all files..... went in to utilities and erased, re format ....partition is grayed out, both my computers......ccc says that partition scheme in T 5 is not compatible with mac intel.......cannot find info. on partitioning of T5 for suitability as boot drive w/ recovery ........any familiar about this and how was it remedied or maby I didnt get the memo that the T5 is not a fit for mac bootable ssd.......
