I've also noticed some applications aren't running correctly, and some won't open at all. Does this mean my hard drive is damaged? (MacBook Pro mid-2010)
If this is the case, can I move the files I want on my new hard drive if I can't move the files from my current faulty hard drive?
I already have back-up copies of my important files, but it would be nice and a time saver if I could move all the stuff I want to have on my new hard drive that I haven't backed up too.
I already have the replacement hard drive to go in my MacBook as well as an external hard drive to move the files onto whilst I'm changing hard drives.
thanks
