Cant convert webloc file to video file

Pls help. I downloaded quiktime for Mac. Google says that I should double right click my webloc file but when I do it goes to chrome, not safari. I can’t find quiktime after that to save it.

Webloc files are not video files. they are just a shortcut to a web location.

WEB LOCation

(WEB LOCation) A file that contains a URL to a website. Weblocs are URL shortcuts created by the Web browser by highlighting and dragging the Web address currently in the address bar onto the desktop or into a folder. Clicking the webloc retrieves the website.
