Canon solution centre. Lion OS

I have recently loaded Lion onto a new computer. I can wirelessly print using my canon MP640 Multi Function printer. but when I download the scanner driver or Canon Solution Center these applications do not work.

do they say they are for Lion?

With Lion the trick is to remove all the old drivers, see if it works without drivers, if not then find the Makers updates.
