Can not update my MAC OS

I can download the update but I can not installe the update because it refuses my password.

How did you download the updater, how is the process initiated, and at what stage of the installation is your password being refused?

If your current version is 14.5 (build 23F79), it is the most recent already. The version before that was the 14.5 beta, build 23F5074a. Which one are you running. The build number can be found in  -> About This Mac. When the window opens, double click the macOS entry for Sonoma 14.5 to show the build number.
