I recently got an iMac, but since i use pc to work, i wish i could use my iMac as a second monitor. I've seen on other forums that versions after 2014 don't have external display support via Thunderbolt cable. Does anyone know another way to make this work?
Can I use a iMAC Retina 4k 2017 as external monitor?

Hello and welcome.
There were only a few model years that had target display mode functionality - 2009-2014. The 2017 doesn't have that capability that I know of.

There isn't any other way to make it work that I know of, sorry.
