can anyone help me with permissions?

Hi,

I'm trying to get artwork files up on to a client's FTP site.

The site opens fine but is read only. How can I change permissions to allow read/write?

(I have even set up my own FTP site and this comes up as read only too!!!)

Am at wits' end and deadlines are looming!!! Never had this issue before!

iMac 24" 2.16 intel v. 10.6.1 running leopard with snow leopard

Any help really appreciated!!!
