Budget sims 4 Imac

Hi, daughter is after a Imac to play Sims 4 on, on a bit of a budget so looking at refurb systems, what kind of spec do I need to be looking for. And will I need to uprate the graphics card.

Just to refine your search a little more;
In summary, to play The Sims 4 on a Mac, you’ll need a model introduced in 2012 or later, with Metal support. This includes:
MacBook Air (2012 or later)

• MacBook Pro (2012 or later)
• MacBook (2015 or later)
• Mac mini (2012 or later)
• iMac (2012 or later)
• iMac Pro (all models)
• Mac Pro (late 2013 or later, with Metal-capable graphics card)

BUT, she may not want to stop at SIMS 4. My guess is she may want to go on to more demanding games so, I would be inclined to get say a refurbished 2018 model which will future proof it a bit.
