Brand new MacBook

Setting up the wireless network on this just bought MacBook. Ran into an airport error which appears after I enter the network password, which I checked and is valid on my PC, running XP with a DLink airplus DWL 520+.

I cannot go further than that part. How do I resolve this?

What type of network is it WPA, WEP ?
