Bluetooth is off and how to write password...? I'm stuck!!!

I have an new 2 days old iMac. I switched off my Bluetooth on my iMac by incident and after while my computer went to sleep - now it wants to write me the password as always but my keyboard is with Bluetooth connections so I can`t do it. Simple but no move I can make!!! Please HELP!!!???

Plug in a USB mouse and keyboard, they can be any old one you have lying around or can borrow.

That`s what I did, went to the store, bought wired keyboard and all works perfect
