Morning all,

I've got a macbook wirelessly connected to my home network, through a Netgear DG834G Wireless router.

All I really want to do is play my music from my macbook to my speakers elsewhere, wirelessly.

Can I buy airport express and use this solely for my music, and not have it interfere with my wireless connection?

Thanks in advance,

Marc

Hi there Marc and Welcome !

Yes, you have lots of different choices...

You could buy the Express then set it to join your existing network...you can then surf and play music at the same time.

You could turn the Wireless network off on the Netgear and plug an Ethernet cable between the Express and the 834, then set up the Express to be the 'wireless' Network...

There are lots of different ways to do this...

Let us know if you get one and we can help you set it up !

Thanks a lot for that reply, that's cleared it up a lot for me,

I'll definately be getting this sorted soon then, and I'll certainly ask about any problems I have with it,

Regards

Marc
