during which I used computers nearly every day. That's what it feels like. Oh I've made some effort. Got For Dummies books - they tell me everything I already know and never anything I would need also to know.
Just got new MacBook days ago. Because I could, because needed portable, because existing netbook and computer both on last legs.
Chose MacBook because: reviews, design, (weight and thinness) and because of the rave cult. People saying they love their Mac. Never hear people say they love their PC - people say they hate them. I hate the things that go wrong for reasons you couldn't have guessed and couldn't guess in a hundred years how to put right. My I-pad convinced me that Apple design had normal humans in mind, not just informatics engineers. Some things a bit difficult but never stuck helpless for very long.
Went to a lesson at a Mac shop today. Quite useful ice-breaker.
Was surprised by my first problem though which I will post in minutes.
