Hi everyone, hope you can help
I have a MacBook Air 2017. It had just got to the point where the battery health was about 48% and it could barely hold a charge - it would switch off if unplugged.
I’ve changed the battery myself, and am going through the calibration process. It’s been about 6 hours and it’s only 97% charge. It also keeps switching off immediately after I’ve switched it on. This is while it’s still plugged in - if I unplug it, it doesn’t switch on at all.
Any possible solutions? I’ve reset the SMC (or so I believe, since there are no signs it’s done anything at all).
