I am currently running my MacBook Pro (2017) on High Sierra, and want to upgrade to Catalina, but I use a great program called Commenteer to batch add comments to my photos in the Finder info pane. I can tag 1000s of photos very quickly like this. However it is only a 32 bit program, and I understand it won't run on the 64 bit operating systems like Catalina. Anyone know of a comparable substitute that will work on Catalina?

Hello and welcome.
I personally don't know of any similar applications, as I don't use the comment feature in iPhoto/Photos. You could try contacting the makers of Commenteer to see if they plan on a future 64-bit compatible update: Limit Point LLC
Maybe another member will have some insight.
