My 2015 MacBook pro has a broken screen. When I connect it to an external monitor it will not switch to this monitor as the mac is not booting up
I created a bootable usb drive , plugged it into the Mac and it boots up from the usb and shows on the external monitor so I thought I could choose the install OSX option but the only drive that shows up is the USB drive not the Mac drive so I can't install it
If I use disk utilities from the USB I can see the main Mac drive with 120gb so I don't understand why the install option doesn't show it
I'm so frustrated so if anyone can help
Thanks
