Backup Up iMac and Time Capsule

Hello,
My iMac (1TB) and Time Capsule (2TB) are both maxed out. I need to backup both, preferably with 1 product. Thinking I need something with 6TB, so it will serve me a long time. Product Simplicity is key, I want plug and play! Any thoughts?

It's a pretty simple job to change the Hard drive in a time capsule.

Sorry I'm late. Just catching up on old mail. I bought a Western Digital 6TB "My Book" external drive for her PC and it's behaving nicely.
