Question:

How do I use Automator to copy photos from a smart folder to another folder on the desktop ?

Workflow below, change the name "steven" to any Album name, even smart Albums !

Remember when ever working with iPhoto, make sure that all your images are backed up before doing anything that could make you lose them!!!

You could then save this as an iCal plugin, so that it runs automatically whenever you specify it to in iCal !
