Hello and welcome.
  1. Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS)
  2. Exception Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x0000000000000025
This commonly means that RAM could be failing.

-Do you have the original Apple RAM or third-party RAM installed?
-Have you run any hardware diagnostics?
-Does the system crash with other applications?
-Also, there are a lot of references to Java HotSpot - make sure you have the latest update installed.

Bought RAM from Crucial (16GB) after checking with them before purchase, I will do some memory tests on Monday.
Had the odd crash on Acrobat but I am sure that is a plug-in issue.
I did notice a lot of Java VM errors on the log there.
So first port is hardware diag, and ensure all necessary patches are up to date.

Seems that the memory is working correct, and all patches are up to date. This is going to be a pain to diagnose.

Code:
Partitioning memory into 2 comparison buffers...
Buffer A: 4749MB (4979890176 bytes) starts at local address 0x0000000101000000
Buffer B: 4749MB (4979890176 bytes) starts at local address 0x0000000229d31800

Running 2 test sequences... (CTRL-C to quit)

Test sequence 1 of 2:

Running tests on full 9498MB region...
  Stuck Address : ok
  Linear PRN : ok
Running comparison tests using 4749MB buffers...
  Random Value : ok
  Compare XOR : ok
  Compare SUB : ok
  Compare MUL : ok
  Compare DIV : ok
  Compare OR : ok
  Compare AND : ok
  Sequential Increment: ok
  Solid Bits : ok
  Block Sequential : ok
  Checkerboard : ok
  Bit Spread : ok
  Bit Flip : ok
  Walking Ones : ok
  Walking Zeroes : ok

No I have not Kaveman, please elaborate on this for me?

Also I am going to run Tech Tools Pro tomorrow to get a proper diagnostic on some elements of this iMac.

In the Users Library folder there is Preferences > check for the FileMaker Prefs there may be more than one. Trash these and FM will make a new set.
It may also have folders in the Library > Caches Folder.

It's not likely to be "the Mac" more likely something in the User Space.

We run a separate clean Admin Account for solving these types of problems. If the Mac has one of these Log into that and see if the problem follows.

Deleting the plist for the Filemaker issues resolved it, but not another issue that was related. However I think I have other avenues for the other issue. Thanks a lot for your help.
