Attempting to get an iOS app to work on the desktop, 2 apps were recommended: BlueStack and Andy Android—
DO. NOT. install either:
Andy installs PremierOpinion, part of which got root access, is listed in ClamX is noted as a trojan, and is VERY difficult to remove completely;
Andy also installs VoiceFive, which seems just as unnecessary & suspicious;
BlueStack was not so obviously infected, but gives way too many files access to the WebKit and other launch-files, and is tedious to completely remove…
My conclusion: just stay away from ANY Android emulator, as that platform is thoroughly compromised…
