Almost all of my files suddenly not appearing in finder

Today when I went to finder and clicked "All My Files" in the sidebar, only 595 items showed up (less than 1% of my total files). I know my files are still on my computer, because I still have the same amount of storage space being taken up. When I add new files, THOSE ones are showing up, so I have no idea why the others aren't showing. I didn't change any settings whatsoever.

  • Can you find the files manually in the proper folders in Finder?
