Hello
I have upgraded to Lion 10.7.4 a couple of months ago and after initial teething problems i thought i had managed to get it more or less sorted until yesterday.

I have not downloaded anything new on the laptop (MacBook pro) for a while but it started with iPhoto. Quitting before i even started.

Soon after this Photoshop (CS6) started to "unexpectantly quit" as well

Now all creative programs, iPhoto, photoshop, illustrator, itunes, imovie all "Quit unexpectantly". actually never even starting in the first place

I have run disk utility and repaired disk permissions and repair disk. I have downloaded and installed software updates that previously has sorted out this problem but to no avail.

The only 2 programs still running without problem so far is Safari (thank god) and i mail

Please help OBI ONE you are my only hope!!!!

Do you have a clean Admin Account you can log into to see if it happens there? One that was created before you had these troubles?

Hello!
It's gone from bad to worse. Have done all disk utility/repairs etc.

Got downloading OS X 10.8 and it compleatly killed my mac!

Now all I get is a grey screen. 4 options and after much contemplation I decided to try erasing disk as I have back up in time machine. But it can't even do that
Due to fault (32) broken pipe????

I am now mac less and on iPhone trying to browse for solutions

Your Harddrive may be failing, looks like it time to take it to an Apple Service Center near you.
