airport blinking orange after connecting to Uverse

Does anyone know why a mac airport continues to blink orange after having internet connection changed from dsl to u-verse?

My phone company gave me a new modem (wireless) and I have my mac airport - router which would always turn solid green after connecting to internet. Now I am connected to internet but my airport is not turning green - I think there is something that has to be changed in the network preferences? Any ideas? Thank you!

Could have an Update pending. Check it with AirPort Utility in the Utilities Folder.
