Loosing my mind trying to get air drop to work on the work Macs.

We have 5 and the main one just will not find any devices. All of the iMacs can find each other and our phones fine but the Mac Pro is a little older and although I can send files to it, it can't find devices itself to send files. In order to discover the pro, I have to click find older Macs on the iMacs. Anyone have any ideas on how to send files from older Macs to newer ones?

Will be eternally grateful if I don't have to spend all week googling this.
Thanks

I am not an airdrop "expert", but the two basic requirements are that 1) the Macs are 2012 models or later, and 2) each of them must be running at least Yosemite (OS 10.10.x, with the last version being OS 10.11.5).

Thank you for the reply.
It definitely has airdrop. I can open it. I can receive from other devices. I just can see other devices to send to them.

Is your MacPro a 2012 model or later?

Also, are you using at least Yosemite on each machine?
