With the latest OS X update the option to connect to my Air Play device has gone. Is Apple going to fix this?

Hi Cory thank you for your reply. I have a MacBook Pro with OS X v10.12.3 and a Logitech Air Play speaker. Up until the last OS X upgrade everything worked just fine. However now the device is no longer appearing on my Mac, iphone or ipad. I've tried resetting everything but the Air Play option is just no longer listed. I had previously been playing music from all three devices to this speaker.

No problem.

The interesting thing is that it isn't seen by not only the Mac, but the iPhone and iPad. An upgrade to macOS Sierra on the Mac wouldn't affect the iOS devices. That makes me think it is an issue with the Logitech speaker itself. Which model is it?

It is called the Logitech Ue Air Speaker and the model number is S-00118. I believe it is now discontinued...grrrrr. I also checked that it was still connected to our wi-fi by going through the set up process again. Couldn't really tell as after it took me to the isp page it did nothing but I think that's all it did when I originally set it up. I really appreciate your help but I'm kind of thinking also that somehow the speaker itself has just quit for some reason. Shame as it had really good sound and it wasn't exactly cheap.

Yes, that may be the issue, since it does "see" the speaker. I agree it is a shame, but all electronics fail at some point.

Let us know if you need additional assistance.
