Hi all, I have recently run out of hard disk space on my Macbook Pro, I decided to remove the optical bay and install a secondary samsung 1TB hard drive.
However I first of all put the 1TB hard drive into a USB caddy and formatted it with MAC OS Extended Journal. I then moved some data across from the Mac to free up some room.
Next I installed the 1TB hard drive in to the macbook pro and the first thing it asked me was to initialize it again. I do not want to lose the data I had previously moved across.
In Disk utility it can see the partition but I can not access any of the data.
If anyone has any ideas I would be extremely grateful!
