Account Mail , does not update

Hi

I am using an iMac , with the High Sierra 10.13.3 and mail version 11.2 .
My question to the forum is simple I have got several accounts in the mail and they usually update and warn when new message arrives , but one of the accounts does not behave like that , it is a common account witch means that another user also gets the emails. I have the account installed in two diferente iMac and I am using the Automatically update.
Can anyone help me on this?

Hello and welcome.

It sounds like one of the computers the account is setup on is marking the email as read, thus not allowing the others to alert to new emails.

-Which versions of OS X?
-Who is the email provider?
-How is it setup - POP or IMAP?
