Access User Profile - don't know password?

Our old Art Director just left our company, and he we do not know what password he was using for his user profile. Is there a way we can get into the profile without knowing the password?

by profile...do you mean his account on a Mac ?

If so what type of Mac is it and what version of OS X are you running ?

As long as you have a OS X System disk you can boot off that, and use the reset password application...this will reset his password so that you can gain entry...

Thanks, Ric. I guess I mean his account. Obviously, I don't know much about MACs. We'll see if we can reset the password so the new guy can get the old files. Thanks for the advice!
